Making Science Accessible for All, Antalya Science Festival also known as BILIMFEST is opening its doors for science lovers for the second time between October 19-22!

An important step for introducing Science to the citizen of Antalya, Kepez Municipality have had a valuable collaboration with the Scientific and Technological Research Council Of Türkiye TUBITAK  in 2022. As a result, Antalya Science Centre , covering a 12.500 sqm space in Dokumapark, one of the most vibrant parks of the city, was established.

Considered as one of the largest Science hubs in Türkiye, Antalya Science Centre aims for promoting the culture of science in a broader society not only in Antalya but also in the Mediterranean region. Consisting of well-equipped laboratories and workshops the centre is significantly supporting scientific research in the following subjects: Mathematics, Robotic Coding & Software, Physical Sciences, Woodworking Design, Biology and Chemistry.

Antalya BILIMFEST is becoming one of the biggest Technology and Science Festivals of Türkiye 

Organized for the first time in April 2022, BILIMFEST is the main event of Antalya Science Centre, welcoming domestic & national companies and institutions who actively produce science and technology in Türkiye. Among the last year’s important participants were the Turkish Space Agency, TUBITAK, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, and ASELSAN those who provided invaluable contributions to the Turkish Industry, Science and Technology.

The exhibitions in 2022 included the latest national technological products and vehicles such as T-129 Attack Helicopter, Armoured Vehicle PUSAT, AKSUNGUR unmanned air vehicle, the very first armed unmanned sea vehicle of Türkiye: Ulaq, along with Kuzgun TJ, Bozdoğan, Gökdoğan, SOM-J and Turkey’s 7th satellite sent into space Türksat 4B.

BILIMFEST 2023

This year’s four-day-long festival will be full of exciting activities as well as important conferences. Welcoming also the Ministery of Interior this year, the festival will host tech giants such as TUBITAK, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, TUMOSAN, TUSAS, TURKSAT, TUA, MKE, ANZATSAN, SARSILMAZ, BMC alongside with universities, and technoparks.

Targeting to foster a profound love for science and the great works in the Turkish Industry of Technology, we are proud to promote this festival and increase awareness about Antalya Science Center among our audience. Not only because it supports national development in terms of culture and consciousness of technology, but also because it brings people from 7 to 70 together around science.

Space and solar observation at the planetarium, Areas for experiencing simulations, Hot-air balloon at the balloon park, Climbing tower, Photography Exhibition of Red Sea, Astrophotography, TechAdventures, Workshops of the Antalya Science Center as well as participants workshops, Exhibition halls for land and air vehicle (This year’s festival will welcome units such as PUSAT, Bozdoğan, Gökdoğan, EJDER YALÇIN, KİRPİ, VURAN, İKA, Batuhan, TTZA, E-ZMA, YABGU, ANZATSAN 8×8, Sak Bot.
